Job Title: Sales Manager – Diesel, Transport, Metal & Plastic Industry
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager with a strong background in diesel sales, transportation services, and metal & plastic product sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and leading the sales team to achieve targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in diesel distribution, transport services, and metal & plastic product markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial clients, fleet operators, manufacturers, and distributors.
- Manage key accounts and negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply agreements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, and finance departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely delivery.
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of proven sales management experience in:
- Diesel / Petroleum product sales
- Transport & logistics services
- Metal & plastic manufacturing or trading
- Strong network within industrial, transport, and manufacturing sectors.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and manage a sales team effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Valid driving license (if required for field visits).
