Sales Manager

The Sales Manager will lead and manage the sales efforts for an automation company. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities, developing relationships, and managing a high-performing sales team. The role requires a deep understanding of automation technology, manufacturing processes, and market trends to effectively position the company’s products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets and market penetration goals.
  • Identify emerging markets, customer needs, and new business opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals.
  • Set clear performance objectives, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales team.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a point of escalation for resolving client issues or concerns.

Product and Industry Knowledge:

  • Experienced with handling sales in Automation and should have good knowledge of Servo, Stepper, PLC, HMI, SCADA, and Control Panel.
  • Stay updated on automation technologies, manufacturing innovations, and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand technical specifications and ensure proper communication with clients.
  • Provide insights to product development teams based on customer feedback and market demands.

Sales Operations:

  • Manage the sales pipeline, track performance metrics, and report on sales activities to senior management.
  • Ensure effective use of CRM tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date client information.
  • Oversee pricing strategies and ensure alignment with company profitability goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma/Degree in Electronics / Instrumentation / EC / IC/ BE
  • 7+ years of experience in sales, preferably in automation, manufacturing, or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of automation technologies, and industrial machinery.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and sales analytics tools.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual personal and Team sales targets.
  • Growth in market share and customer base.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Effectiveness of team development and employee satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
