Sales Manager

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and leading the sales function at Ultracab Wires & Cables. This role focuses on business development, strategic customer relationship management, sales team supervision, and achieving overall sales targets. The Sales Manager will oversee enquiry generation, order conversion, execution coordination, and payment realization while ensuring strong alignment with internal departments for seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets
  • Generate new business opportunities and expand market reach
  • Identify potential clients, projects, and new market segments
  • Lead enquiry generation and convert them into confirmed orders

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, contractors, and project clients
  • Conduct regular meetings and visits with existing and prospective customers
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

3. Sales Operations & Order Management

  • Monitor quotation submissions and conduct follow-ups for order confirmations
  • Coordinate with production, planning, dispatch, and finance departments to ensure smooth order execution
  • Track order status and proactively update customers
  • Ensure timely delivery commitments are met

4. Payment & Receivables Management

  • Monitor outstanding payments and ensure timely collections
  • Coordinate with finance for credit limits and payment terms
  • Maintain healthy cash flow through disciplined receivable management

5. Team Leadership & Reporting

  • Lead, guide, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets
  • Set individual and team sales goals
  • Review performance metrics and provide regular feedback
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and MIS to management

6. Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market movements
  • Provide strategic inputs for pricing, product positioning, and new product development

  • Knowledge of wires & cables industry preferred

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in wires & cables, electrical, or industrial products
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
