Sales Manager

Position Summary:

The Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the local outreach and driving revenue by qualifying business, nurturing relationships, developing partnerships and proactive market outreach. This high-impact, client-facing role requires a hunter for business with hustle and creativity. You will have the ability to create curated special events and conferences by being the local expert for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the local market lead, building and nurturing relationships with hotels, venues, and vendors in San Antonio and Austin, Texas.
  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities through both inbound referrals and proactive outreach.
  • Conduct site inspections and sales presentations.
  • Conduct capability briefings for prospective clients, hotel and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with creative and event production teams to develop strategic, on-brand proposals.
  • Own and manage your destiny through sales opportunities, conversion numbers, and market share growth.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to national 3 party planners, in house meeting/conference planners and local event delivery teams to ensure exceptional client experiences.
  • Communicate to our creative team the goals and objectives of the client program

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint required) and (Adobe or the software/like

software that is used).

  • Proficient in Viper a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience producing client-facing proposals and visual presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple creative projects and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Knowledge of travel trends and destination branding.
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs. as needed during event setup, site visits, or production days.
  • Occasional travel may be required for client meetings, site inspections, and event execution.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for program operations, production or client engagements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Expert in Microsoft suite of products, (PowerPoint a must), Adobe Creative Suite; Viper or Canva a plus.
  • Portfolio that showcases high-end aesthetics, immersive experiences, and brand-driven storytelling.
  • Deep understanding of incentive travel, luxury lifestyle trends, and destination branding.
  • Outstanding visual communication and storytelling skills.
  • Flexible, collaborative, and unflappable under pressure—especially in a client-service environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston Texas.
  • Event design background or experience in scenic and environmental design.
  • Brings existing relationships or a strong understanding of the local hospitality and events community.
  • A self-starter with 2–5 years of sales experience in a consultative environment—ideally in hospitality, events, or destination management.
  • Digitally savvy and organized.
  • Confident working independently in potentially a remote environment while collaborating across markets and hitting sales goals.
  • Passionate about the guest experience and confident presenting creative ideas to clients and partners.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
