Responsibilities

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, developing strategic sales plans, and driving revenue growth. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and strengthening customer relationships to support the company’s overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Forecast sales performance and prepare regular sales reports.
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify opportunities.

Team Leadership and Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training needs.
  • Recruit and onboard new sales staff when required.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients and corporate accounts.
  • Support the sales team in handling high-value negotiations and deals.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve escalated customer issues.

Business Development

  • Identify new business opportunities and potential markets.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns.
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking sessions to build connections.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Establish and manage sales budgets, pricing strategies, and discount structures.
  • Ensure sales activities comply with company policies and industry standards.
  • Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to evaluate team performance.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Management, or related field.
  • MBA is an advantage (optional).

Experience

  • 3–7 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience in related industry is highly preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strategic thinking with strong business and commercial awareness.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-changing environments.
