Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our retail sales operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and extensive experience in sales management within retail environments. As a Sales Manager, you will oversee daily store operations, develop sales strategies, and motivate your team to achieve performance goals while ensuring excellent customer experiences.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise the retail sales team, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing environment.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Manage inventory control, purchasing, and merchandising to optimize product availability and presentation.
  • Oversee store operations including cash handling, cashiering, POS systems, and store maintenance to ensure smooth daily functioning.
  • Conduct employee orientation, interviewing, and recruiting activities to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Monitor sales metrics and prepare reports to analyze performance trends and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to retail management.

Experience
Candidates should have previous supervisory or assistant manager experience in retail sales or grocery store environments. A strong background in management, team leadership, inventory management, and customer service is essential. Familiarity with retail math, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and wireless sales is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for engaging diverse customer bases. Proven skills in negotiation, training & development, budgeting, merchandising, stock management, and administrative tasks are necessary for success in this role. Candidates with experience in shift management, retail math calculations, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and organizational skills will thrive in this position. Pay: $30.91 - $36.91 per hour
