Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a diverse sales team to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
- Conduct hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing training of staff to foster a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Manage daily store operations including inventory control, merchandising, pricing, and stock replenishment.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems, payroll processing, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy.
- Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing clients through promotional activities.
- Monitor store performance metrics, manage budgets, and optimize staffing schedules for shift management efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and legal regulations related to retail operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail management or sales leadership roles with supervising experience.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages; bilingual proficiency is a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in employee orientation, training & development, interviewing candidates, and recruiting top talent.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS technology, cash handling procedures, and retail math.
- Ability to manage purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, merchandising displays, and stock organization effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently using time management techniques.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork while maintaining high standards of customer service excellence.
