Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales operations within the mother and baby care distribution sector. The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 10 years of industry experience, with a proven track record of managing large-scale retail accounts, pharmacy chains, and complex supply agreements. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of the baby products market.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across retail and pharmacy channels.
- Account Management: Build and maintain high-level, long-term relationships with key accounts, including baby boutiques, supermarkets, and major pharmacy chains.
- Contract Negotiation: Direct the negotiation and management of supply and distribution agreements to ensure favorable terms and compliance.
- Market Expansion: Identify emerging market opportunities and drive growth into new retail outlets and territories.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing and logistics teams to optimize product visibility and ensure a seamless supply chain flow.
- Performance Analytics: Analyze sales data and market trends to provide actionable insights and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and support the sales team to ensure consistent alignment with corporate business goals.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of senior-level sales experience specifically within the mother and baby care distribution industry.
- Industry Network: An established, robust network of retail and pharmacy contacts within the region.
- Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain logistics and the legalities of distribution agreements.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and people-management capabilities.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
