Sales Manager

Tittle Brothers Construction part of the Alloy Roofing family, is a leading residential roofing contractor serving homeowners across our local market. We are seeking a driven, experienced Sales Manager to lead, develop, and hold accountable a high-performing team of Outside Sales Representatives and Canvassers at the branch level.

The Sales Manager is a player-coach role. You will carry a personal production target while simultaneously building the capability and output of your sales team through daily coaching, ride-alongs, pipeline oversight, and structured performance management. You are responsible for hitting the branch's revenue targets, maintaining a healthy lead-to-close ratio, and ensuring that every rep on your team is developing the skills and habits needed to succeed in residential roofing sales.

The Sales Manager works closely with the General Manager, Production Coordinator, and Customer Service team to ensure that what is sold can be delivered — and that customers are set up for a seamless experience from signed contract through completed installation. This role is a key member of branch leadership and is expected to model the culture, standards, and professionalism of the Alloy Roofing brand on every customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of Outside Sales Representatives and Canvassers; set clear expectations, hold team members accountable to individual targets, and conduct regular performance reviews
  • Conduct daily and weekly sales meetings to review pipeline status, reinforce processes, address objections, and recognize top performers
  • Perform structured ride-alongs and field coaching sessions with each rep on a recurring basis; provide specific, actionable feedback tied to observable behaviors
  • Partner with the General Manager and HR to recruit, interview, and onboard new sales team members in accordance with company hiring standards
  • Identify performance gaps early; develop and execute improvement plans in coordination with the General Manager and HR before issues escalate
  • Foster a team culture of accountability, competitiveness, continuous improvement, and customer-first professionalism

Personal Production

  • Maintain an active personal pipeline and carry an individual sales target as set by the General Manager; lead by example in the field
  • Run inspections, present proposals, and close contracts with homeowners, demonstrating the sales process you expect your team to follow
  • Manage your own book of business alongside team leadership responsibilities, prioritizing high-value opportunities and referral relationships
  • Represent Alloy Roofing in the community through networking, referral development, and professional engagement with insurance adjusters, real estate professionals, and other industry contacts

Pipeline Management & Forecasting

  • Own the branch sales pipeline in ServiceTitan; ensure all leads, appointments, proposals, and contracts are accurately entered, staged, and maintained by every member of the team
  • Review pipeline data daily; identify stalled deals, aging leads, and follow-up gaps and drive resolution with the responsible rep
  • Prepare and present a weekly sales forecast and pipeline summary to the General Manager, including projected revenue, close rate, and key opportunities
  • Track and report on lead source performance, canvassing productivity, conversion rates by rep, and overall pipeline health; use data to inform coaching priorities and resource allocation
  • Coordinate with the Production Coordinator and General Manager to align the sales pipeline with production capacity; avoid overselling into constrained scheduling windows

Insurance & Claims Expertise

  • Serve as the branch's subject matter expert on the residential insurance claims process; guide customers and reps through claim filing, adjuster meetings, scope of loss documentation, and supplement negotiations
  • Attend adjuster meetings with reps as needed to support complex or high-value claims; model the adjuster engagement process for your team
  • Ensure reps are trained and proficient in insurance sales methodology, Xactimate scope interpretation, and supplement best practices
  • Stay current on carrier trends, policy changes, and adjuster practices in the local market; communicate relevant changes to the team and General Manager

Customer Experience & Contract Integrity

  • Ensure every customer interaction — from initial knock to signed contract — reflects the professionalism, transparency, and homeowner-first approach that defines the Alloy Roofing brand
  • Review contracts and proposals for accuracy prior to submission; ensure scope, pricing, materials, and terms are complete and consistent with company standards
  • Address customer escalations involving the sales process promptly and professionally; take ownership of resolution and communicate outcomes to the General Manager
  • Maintain a personal and team net promoter score consistent with branch targets; solicit reviews and referrals systematically

Training & Development

  • Own the onboarding and field training experience for all new Outside Sales Representatives; ensure new hires are productive and pipeline-ready within 30 days
  • Maintain proficiency in and actively train the team on the full Alloy sales process, objection handling, product knowledge, insurance claims workflows, and ServiceTitan usage
  • Identify and communicate training and development needs to the General Manager and HR; support the rollout of company-wide sales training initiatives
  • Develop internal sales talent for advancement into senior rep, team lead, or future Sales Manager roles within the Alloy platform
