About the Role:
We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Sales Manager to lead and grow our Heat Exchanger (HEX) business across the Middle East region. This role is pivotal in maintaining our strong market position while unlocking significant untapped growth potential.
The successful candidate will focus on capturing and reconverting aftermarket (AM) opportunities, while also driving the expansion of original equipment (OE) sales to strengthen and grow the installed base. You will play a key role in executing a multi-channel go-to-market strategy - empowering channel partners, supporting OEMs and system integrators, and engaging directly with end users through both sales and consultative approaches.
This position covers the Middle East territory and requires a proactive, results-oriented professional with a strong ability to develop business and close opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve or exceed Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets within the assigned region
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies tailored to different end markets
- Drive both OE (new equipment) and AM (aftermarket) sales of APV Plate Heat Exchangers
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across industries and applications
- Actively manage and grow the installed base through a proactive aftermarket approach
- Build and strengthen relationships with OEMs, system integrators, and channel partners
- Identify and onboard new channel partners where needed
- Support partners in developing technical and commercial competencies
- Conduct joint customer visits and provide consultative support on product selection
- Lead negotiations in line with company pricing and margin policies
- Monitor and manage sales pipelines, ensuring accurate CRM reporting
- Ensure financial reliability of customers and partners
- Support customers and partners in resolving aftermarket needs and challenges
- Plan and execute promotional activities (e.g., exhibitions, seminars, campaigns)
- Collaborate with partners to define and implement local marketing plans
- Track partner performance and implement improvement plans where necessary
Key Interfaces
You will collaborate closely with a broad network across the organization, including regional sales teams, channel partners, product management, production sites, and support functions such as legal and finance.
Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial and technical understanding of both new equipment and aftermarket sales
- Experience in the Middle East region is highly desirable
- Background in industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizers, HVAC, EPC, or OEM markets is an advantage
- Proven ability to develop and manage channel partners effectively
- Strong understanding of regional business culture and dynamics
- Results-driven with a competitive mindset and strong closing skills
- Knowledge of plate heat exchangers is a plus
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- High level of integrity, accountability, and self-motivation
- Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team
