Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our retail sales team and drive business growth. Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and merchandising plans to maximize revenue.
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, pricing, stock replenishment, and POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Manage employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, scheduling shifts, and supervising staff to ensure optimal team performance.
- Handle customer service issues with professionalism, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Maintain accurate financial records including payroll, bookkeeping, budgeting, and cash handling procedures.
- Conduct regular store inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, cleanliness, organization, and inventory control.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in retail sales or store management with a strong background in supervising teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively.
- Demonstrated proficiency in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and recruiting processes.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases.
- Strong organizational skills with expertise in inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and retail math.
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and retail software tools such as payroll or bookkeeping programs.
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques including marketing strategies and promotional planning.
- Ability to manage budgets, perform retail math calculations accurately, and oversee store operations efficiently. Pay: $60,918.41 - $72,116.80 per year
