Sales Manager — Caltex Lubricants

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Job Purpose:

Lead and manage a sales team for lubricants in the UAE, overseeing sales, marketing, and day-to-day operations for various sectors (retail, commercial, government, etc.). Increase brand market share, manage client relationships, and stay aware of competitor activities.


Principal Accountabilities:

  • Lead and train the sales team, ensuring performance targets are met.
  • Manage sales, financial performance, and staff operations.
  • Handle customer relationships, technical presentations, and tender bids.
  • Monitor and report monthly and yearly performance.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and distributors to meet customer needs.
  • Develop marketing plans and promotional strategies.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through product quality, support, and delivery.
  • Manage pricing and sales forecasts.


Financial and Operational Responsibilities:

  • Review OPEX and CAPEX for budget optimization.
  • Oversee credit policies and manage customer credit limits.
  • Ensure timely payment collection and follow up on overdue amounts.
  • Manage annual sales and contribution margin budget.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of relevant managerial experience.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of lubricants and market competition.
  • Analytical skills and ability to manage teams effectively.
