Sales Manager (Freight Forwarding)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Logistics Manager located in Chennai. The Sales Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day sales and logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods. They will also be responsible for managing customer relationships and improving customer satisfaction through effective communication and service.

Appointment Generation and RFQ Conversion:
Initiate and secure appointments with prospective clients across diverse sectors to discuss tailored logistics solutions.

Effectively follow up on RFQs, demonstrating a strong understanding of sector-specific requirements and converting them into POs.

Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients in related sectors.

Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, addressing sector-specific needs and delivering customized logistics solutions.

Sales Execution and Payment Procedure:

Responsible Drive sales conversion by leveraging company expertise in international transportation and offering specialized logistics services for each sector.

Responsible to Oversee the payment procedures for sales converted into POs, follow up with the clients and make sure to receive the payments as per the agreed terms.

Proficient in payment procedures and adherence to sector-specific protocols and company policies.

Business Development and Reporting:

Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics services and provide regular sales reports and updates to the Managing Director.

Qualifications

• Communication and Customer Service skills
• Sales skills and experience
• Supply Chain Management and Logistics Management skills
• Experience in managing sales and logistics operations
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Experience in the logistics or transportation industry is Mandatory.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
