Sales Manager – Freight Forwarding FCL

Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager – Freight Forwarding to drive business growth, develop new client relationships, and expand the company's market presence. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in freight forwarding sales, logistics solutions, and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

Identify and secure new business opportunities in Air Freight, Sea Freight, and Land Transportation.

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Generate leads and convert prospects into long-term clients.

Explore new markets and business segments.

Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.

Understand customer requirements and provide customized logistics solutions.

Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention rates.

Sales & Revenue Growth

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Prepare quotations and pricing proposals for customers.

Negotiate contracts and service agreements.

Monitor sales performance and identify growth opportunities.

Market Analysis

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.

Analyze customer demands and trade lane opportunities.

Provide market intelligence and business insights to management.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.

Coordinate with Pricing and Procurement teams for competitive freight solutions.

Ensure timely resolution of customer concerns and operational issues.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

5–8 years of experience in Freight Forwarding Sales.

Strong understanding of Air Freight, Sea Freight, Customs Clearance, and Logistics Services.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strong client network within the freight forwarding and logistics industry.

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
