Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Manager to lead and expand the commercial success of Thales products and solutions across targeted verticals such as defence, aerospace, cybersecurity, digital identity, transportation, and public safety. The role involves managing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and aligning with Thales’ global strategy to drive growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

Develop and execute business unit strategy aligned with Thales product portfolio and local market needs.

Define go-to-market plans for Thales verticals (e.g., digital identity, avionics, defense systems).

Sales & Business Development
-
Drive new business opportunities with government agencies, telecom providers, transportation authorities, defense organizations, etc.

Lead RFP/RFQ responses in collaboration with Thales teams.

Grow revenue and market share for Thales products and services.

Account Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.

Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts and manage long-term partnerships.

Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement

Coordinate with Thales global business lines, engineering, and support teams.

Develop partnerships with local resellers, integrators, and technology partners.

Product & Market Expertise

Maintain strong knowledge of Thales products (e.g., Gemalto, Secure Communications, avionics, radar systems, ticketing systems, etc.).

Monitor competitive landscape and provide insights for product adaptation and innovation.

Reporting & Financial Management

Develop business unit forecasts, budgets, and KPIs.

Report regularly to regional leadership on performance, pipeline, and risks.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years in sales, business development, or product management (preferably with experience in Thales-related domains).

Strong understanding of at least one Thales vertical: cybersecurity, aerospace, transportation, or digital identity.

Experience working with government or defence sectors is a strong plus.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent in English (Arabic or French is a plus)
