To strengthen our Construction & Infrastructure segment in Abu Dhabi, we are seeking an experienced Sales Manager – Construction Solutions to drive growth, manage key accounts, and lead solution-based sales activities across strategic projects.
Role Overview
The Sales Manager – Construction Solutions is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing key customer relationships, and leading project-based solution selling across Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE. The role combines strategic sales leadership, technical solution positioning, and project engagement, working closely with consultants, developers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure Würth solutions are specified, approved, and successfully implemented.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership & Revenue Growth
- Own and drive sales performance for construction and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives and market opportunities.
- Manage sales pipelines, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Account & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with developers, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and asset owners.
- Act as a trusted commercial partner, understanding customer business models and project needs.
- Lead negotiations and commercial discussions, including pricing, contracts, and framework agreements.
Project-Based Solution Selling
- Lead solution-based sales for Würth construction products, including fastening systems, anchors, chemical products, installation systems, and site consumables.
- Drive early-stage engagement at specification, tender, and design phases to secure project approvals.
- Work closely with technical specialists to ensure compliant, optimized, and value-driven solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Technical Services, Product Management, Logistics, and Operations to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Act as the commercial interface between customers and internal Würth teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Market & Business Development
- Identify and develop new project opportunities within Abu Dhabi’s construction and infrastructure market.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and emerging construction technologies.
- Contribute to strategic account planning and long-term growth initiatives.
Required Skills & QualificationsEducation & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in sales or business development within construction solutions, building materials, or industrial products in the UAE (Abu Dhabi experience preferred).
- Strong background in project-based sales, specification-driven selling, and key account management.
- Experience with multinational or market-leading organizations such as Hilti, Fischer, ABB, Siemens, or similar is a strong advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong commercial acumen with a solution-selling mindset.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to understand technical solutions and translate them into customer value.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage complex sales cycles.
- Proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience is an advantage.
