Position: Sales – International Logistics (Air/Sea Freight)

Role:
To drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and managing existing accounts in International Air & Sea freight (Import & Export), while delivering high service standards and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1️ Business Development
- Identify and acquire new clients for Air & Sea freight (Import/Export).
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital platforms.
- Conduct client meetings and present logistics solutions.
- Develop customized freight proposals and close deals.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
2️ Client Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with exporters, importers, CHA, and supply chain partners.
- Understand customer shipping patterns and suggest cost-effective solutions.
- Handle customer queries related to pricing, transit time, documentation, and customs.
3️ Pricing & Coordination
- Coordinate with pricing, operations, and overseas agents for competitive freight rates.
- Negotiate rates with airlines/shipping lines (for manager-level roles).
- Ensure smooth execution of shipments with operations team.
4️ Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor pricing and market trends.
- Identify new trade lanes and business opportunities.
- Track industry movements in air and ocean freight.
5️ Reporting & CRM
- Maintain updated records in CRM.
- Prepare weekly sales pipeline reports.
- Track target vs achievement.
- Follow up on outstanding payments (where applicable).
