Position Overview & Responsibilities

Sales Managers at Sixteen Bricks are responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to increase revenue and promote company growth. The National Accounts & Distribution Sales Manager will lead the business in building a robust network of national accounts and expanding our distribution footprint across the United States. This role is critical to positioning Sixteen Bricks as a premier artisan bread supplier for food wholesalers, grocery chains, and restaurant networks nationwide.


Key responsibilities include
:

  • Develop and execute strategies to build nationwide distribution channels, focusing on high-volume accounts and long-term partnerships.
  • Lead efforts to secure and manage national accounts, including contract negotiations, pricing structures, and service agreements.
  • Utilize a working knowledge of cold chain logistics to ensure product integrity and timely delivery across multiple regions.
  • Leverage proven experience and existing connections within food wholesaling, grocery, and restaurant networks to accelerate growth.
  • Identify and implement scalable sales strategies to meet aggressive revenue targets.
  • Monitor performance metrics and report KPIs to leadership regularly.
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to optimize distribution processes and maintain quality standards.


Characteristics & Competencies

  • 10+ years of experience in national sales or distribution, preferably in food or hospitality industries.
  • Strong network of contacts in wholesale, grocery, and restaurant sectors.
  • Expertise in cold chain logistics and large-scale distribution.
  • Strategic thinker with proven ability to execute growth initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and advanced sales reporting.

  • Willingness to travel if needed across the U.S.


This is a full-time salaried position with in-person business hours generally expected M-F. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet business needs. Base salary ranges from $50,000–$60,000 annually. A commission plan will be provided, and successful candidates can expect total earnings of $80,000–$140,000 annually based on performance. This employee will be eligible for majority employer-paid health insurance and other voluntary coverage within 60 days of hire, paid holidays starting day one, and PTO/sick time accrual upon hire.
