Role Overview
We are seeking a result-oriented Sales Manager with strong experience in storage systems and material handling equipment (MHE) to drive business development, manage key accounts, and achieve sales growth across Tamil Nadu.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and acquire new customers for racking systems, shelving, and MHE.
- Generate leads through market research, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct site visits to assess warehouse layouts and storage requirements.
- Propose customized storage and material handling solutions.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Prepare, present, and negotiate sales proposals and commercial terms.
Account Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Track collections, outstanding payments, and credit exposure.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments.
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and MIS reports.
- Share market feedback to support product and solution alignment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: BE (Any specialization)
- Experience: Minimum 4 years in sales of storage systems / racking / MHE
- Strong understanding of warehouse storage solutions and material handling equipment
- Proven ability to close large or technically complex deals
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong customer-facing and relationship management abilities
- Good understanding of credit management and collections
