Role Purpose

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth in the UAE local market for tires and batteries. This role requires managing and leading the sales team, ensuring achievement of monthly and yearly targets and building sustainable client relationships. The Sales Manager is also expected to contribute directly to sales growth by handling key accounts, developing new business opportunities and setting strategic sales directions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership & Strategy
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company targets in the UAE local market.
  • Manage, mentor and motivate the sales team to maximize performance.
  • Set and monitor sales KPIs and ensure team alignment with business goals.
  • Team Management
  • Supervise the local sales team, providing coaching, guidance and performance feedback.
  • Allocate territories, accounts and sales objectives across the team.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, reviews and training sessions.
  • Business Development
  • Identify new business opportunities, market segments and distribution channels.
  • Expand company presence through new customer acquisition and maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Negotiate and close deals with distributors, retailers and fleet operators.
  • Self-Sales Contribution
  • Personally manage high-value clients and strategic accounts.
  • Generate new sales leads and maintain consistent pipeline growth.
  • Work towards individual sales targets alongside team objectives.
  • Customer Relations & Market Intelligence
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through regular meetings and follow-ups.
  • Ensure timely recovery and collection of payments in coordination with Accounts.
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing and market trends to adapt strategies.
  • Reporting & Compliance
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts and market analysis to management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures and ethical standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role within the tire and/or battery industry in UAE.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of the UAE automotive aftermarket and distribution channels.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
