Job Description – Sales Manager (Home Automation)

Job Summary

The Sales Manager – Home Automation will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing business opportunities, and leading the sales team for smart home and building automation solutions. The role focuses on generating projects through architects, consultants, contractors, builders, and end customers while ensuring exceptional customer experience and achievement of sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Lead, train, and manage the home automation sales team.
  • Generate new business opportunities in residential, commercial, hospitality, and corporate sectors.
  • Build strong relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, contractors, builders, and developers.
  • Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.
  • Promote and sell smart home solutions including lighting control, smart switches, curtains, security systems, CCTV, video intercom, access control, audio systems, and integrated automation solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, BOQs, and project estimates.
  • Coordinate with technical and project teams for smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor sales pipeline, maintain CRM records, and ensure timely follow-up of leads.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Participate in exhibitions, networking events, and business development activities.
  • Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Oversee collection and recovery of outstanding payments from clients.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5–8 years of sales experience, preferably in Home Automation, Smart Building Solutions, Electrical Products, Security Systems, or ELV Solutions.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in team management.
  • Strong understanding of smart home technologies and automation systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
