Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Inside Sales Manager to oversee our sales team within the office environment at an EdTech company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing inside sales teams, experience with CRM tools, and expertise in lead management. This role will focus on driving sales growth through effective strategies, managing a team of inside sales representatives, and ensuring the efficient use of CRM systems to optimize the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of inside sales representatives to achieve sales targets and deliver high performance.
- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement sales strategies specifically tailored to the EdTech market, optimizing the inside sales process to maximize lead conversion and revenue.
- Lead Management: Oversee the entire lead generation and management process, ensuring that leads are properly tracked, followed up on, and nurtured to convert into customers.
- CRM Utilization: Ensure the team effectively uses CRM systems to track all sales activities, monitor lead progress, and maintain accurate customer records.
- Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular sales performance reports, analyze KPIs, and forecast future sales trends to adjust strategies and meet company goals.
- Client Engagement: Manage the sales process through phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings to engage with prospects, understand their needs, and deliver tailored product solutions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns and materials that support the inside sales process, enhancing lead generation and nurturing.
- Training & Development: Provide ongoing training to the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, CRM tools, and industry best practices to enhance team capabilities and productivity.
- Customer Relationship Management: Ensure the team provides excellent post-sale support, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns to maintain customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in inside sales management, preferably in the EdTech or technology industry.
- Inside Sales Expertise: Demonstrated experience managing and growing an inside sales team in an office-based, non-field sales environment.
- CRM Proficiency: Expertise in CRM platforms with a focus on lead management, tracking, and reporting.
- Lead Management Skills: Proven ability to manage and convert leads through the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and effective nurturing.
- Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills, with a focus on building a collaborative and high-performing sales team.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and persuade prospects remotely.
- Goal-Oriented: Focused on achieving sales targets, with the ability to track progress, adjust strategies, and deliver results.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the EdTech market, customer needs, and trends is a plus.

- Experience in managing sales teams within the EdTech sector or a similar technology-driven field.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms, educational technology solutions, or software products.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related fields.
