About the Role:

As a Sales Manager for IoT solutions, you will drive growth of our North American sales team. Your responsibilities encompass the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals. Working closely with industry managers and FAEs, you will act as a hunter, identifying potential customers, clearly presenting our solutions and their value to secure deals.

We are looking for proactive and ambitious sales professionals with experience in the IoT industry, particularly in industrial digitalization. You should be capable of expanding our customer base, maintaining customer relationships, and establishing and nurturing channel partnerships. This role offers an opportunity to join a rapidly growing industry, where you will be rewarded both professionally and financially.

· This is a remote position, requiring travel to visit customers and attend onsite meetings (~40% travel).

· Preferred location is Dallas, Texas. We welcome applications from any location within the United States. Our recruitment team will discuss with you to determine the region where you are most likely to succeed, based on your location and InHand's business development needs. It would be a strong plus if you could work daily in our Dallas office.

What You'll Do:

  • Work with industry managers, product managers, and FAEs to identify potential customers and partners.
  • Conduct sales activities, win customers through searching, identifying, presenting and negotiating, meet the annual sales targets set by the sales team.
  • Understand potential customers’ needs and goals using consultative sales techniques, and present tailored solutions.
  • Engage in sales activities such as phone calls, web conferences, social media marketing, onsite meetings, and trade shows.
  • Work closely with system integrators and ecosystem partners to promote our IoT products and solutions to potential customers.
  • Participate in the company’s training sessions to continuously learn and master product features, and stay informed about industry developments.
  • Work with other teams within the company, providing feedback on markets, customers, and competitors, participating in marketing activities, and adhering to company policies.

What We're Looking For:

  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to interact comfortably with potential customers and colleagues.
  • Strong consultative sales approach and negotiation skills.
  • 5 years of experience in business development, telemarketing, lead generation, or sales.
  • Proven track record of successfully establishing and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify customer needs, implement effective sales strategies, and work with the team for success.
  • Ability to understand how technical products and solutions address customers’ demands.
  • Proficient phone skills, exceptional listening abilities, and good writing skills.
  • Quick learner, adept at using efficient tools such as CRM, generative AI, and social media to enhance productivity and performance.
  • Industry knowledge and experience in industrial automation, building automation, energy efficiency, smart transportation, and industrial IoT are preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to the fast-paced tech industry, willingness for continuous learning, and enthusiasm for technological advancements.
  • Strong curiosity about products, industry, and customer business, always seeking opportunities for learning and growth, and creativity in finding the best solutions for customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, education background relevant to our business
  • U.S. or Canadian citizen or permanent resident, or with a valid work permit for the U.S. or Canada.
