We're looking for an experienced and results-driven Division Head of Trading to lead our team in the sales and trading of mechanical parts in oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mechanical products and a proven track record of driving sales, managing client relationships, and optimizing procurement and inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify and secure new clients within the oil and gas industry to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new project opportunities, and potential client needs.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their material needs are met with excellence.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and high customer satisfaction.
- Inventory and Procurement:
- Lead the forecasting of material requirements, including but not limited to pipes, flanges, valves, steel structures, pumps etc.
- Strategically manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for current and future project demands.
- Actively source and procure materials from a global network of suppliers, negotiating competitive rates and ensuring all products meet the required technical specifications.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the trading division team to foster a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, logistics and finance, to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.
- Market Analysis:
- Stay aware of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform business strategy and identify new opportunities.
