Sales & Marketing Associate

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and growth-oriented Sales & Marketing Associate to join our expanding software development company. This is an entry-level to early-career opportunity ideal for someone interested in SaaS, technology, sales, and marketing.

In this role, you will work closely with company leadership to support customer outreach, marketing initiatives, and long-term sales growth. You will begin with a structured learning and ramp-up period focused on understanding our products, customers, and sales approach before gradually taking on greater responsibility in lead generation, networking, and external representation.

This position offers hands-on exposure to SaaS sales, Microsoft-based consulting services, enterprise clients, and public-sector procurement processes. Over time, this role is designed to grow into senior sales or regional leadership opportunities as the company expands.

Responsibilities

Customer Relationship & Outreach

  • Proactively connect with existing customers to support engagement and satisfaction
  • Gather feedback, testimonials, and case study opportunities
  • Serve as a professional, non-technical point of contact for customer communication
  • Coordinate internally to share customer insights and improve service

Sales & Business Development (Progressive Responsibility)

  • Support inside/outside sales efforts and opportunity tracking
  • Research target industries and organizations
  • Assist with lead generation initiatives and outbound campaigns
  • Gradually participate in networking events, trade shows, and regional business activities
  • Help refine messaging and value propositions

Marketing & Brand Support

  • Help manage and grow the company’s LinkedIn and digital presence
  • Contribute to marketing content and campaign ideas
  • Support digital advertising efforts (Google Ads, software marketplaces, etc.)

Marketplace & Procurement Platforms (Growth Responsibility)

  • Assist with maintaining listings and submissions on software marketplaces and supplier portals
  • Monitor opportunities and coordinate internal documentation for submissions

Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, self-motivated, and eager to learn
  • Comfortable speaking professionally with customers and prospects
  • Interest in technology, SaaS, or software solutions

Nice to Have

  • Internship or early experience in sales, marketing, or customer-facing roles
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 or CRM systems
  • Experience with social media management or content creation
  • Interest in enterprise or public-sector sales environments

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
