Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing professional to drive business growth in the infrastructure and construction materials sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in B2B sales, strong knowledge of the construction/infrastructure ecosystem, and the ability to build and manage long-term client relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and project consultants.
Key Responsibilities:Sales:
- Identify and acquire new customers in the infrastructure and construction space (contractors, builders, developers, etc.).
- Drive B2B sales for construction materials such as cement, steel, TMT bars, ready-mix concrete, aggregates, tiles, plumbing, electricals, etc.
- Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and ensure repeat business.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation, quotation, negotiation, order processing to delivery follow-up.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets as assigned by the management.
Marketing:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns tailored for the infra segment.
- Conduct product presentations, demos, and promotional events at project sites and industry events.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence – competitor pricing, new project launches, demand-supply trends.
- Promote the company brand and products through both online and offline channels.
- Generate content and insights to support digital marketing and lead generation activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 2–6 years of experience in B2B sales and/or marketing, preferably in the construction/infrastructure sector.
- Strong network and understanding of the local construction market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a target-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively to project sites and client locations.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and basic digital marketing platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with infrastructure marketplaces (e.g., Infra.Market, BuildSupply, Moglix, etc.).
- Knowledge of project bidding and procurement processes in the construction industry.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make strategic decisions.
- Familiarity with government/infra project sales (if applicable).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
