Sales & Marketing Intern – FMCG
Role Overview
The Sales & Marketing Intern will support on-ground and digital sales & marketing activities for FMCG products. The role offers hands-on exposure to market operations, distributor management, retail execution, and brand promotion in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Sales Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team in market visits, retail audits, and outlet mapping
- Support distributor and retailer coordination
- Help track daily/weekly sales data and prepare reports
- Assist in executing in-store promotions, schemes, and product displays
- Collect market feedback on pricing, competitors, and consumer preferences
Marketing Responsibilities
- Support execution of brand activation activities (sampling, promotions, visibility drives)
- Assist in planning and monitoring local marketing campaigns
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Coordinate with sales teams to ensure marketing alignment at retail level
Skills & Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Management, or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in the field and travel locally
- Basic understanding of FMCG sales/marketing concepts
- Comfortable with MS Excel, Google Sheets, and presentations
- Energetic, proactive, and eager to learn
