Job Summary:

The Sales & Marketing Manager in the hospitality industry is responsible for driving revenue growth, increasing brand awareness, and ensuring high occupancy and guest engagement. This role develops and executes sales and marketing strategies for hotels, resorts, restaurants, or other hospitality establishments, manages key accounts, and leads the sales and marketing team. The ideal candidate has strong industry knowledge, excellent networking skills, and a proven track record in hospitality sales and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans tailored to the hospitality industry to achieve revenue and occupancy targets.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales and marketing team, ensuring high performance and achieving departmental goals.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, travel agencies, event planners, and partners.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, and promotional events.
  • Conduct market research to monitor hospitality trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.
  • Oversee pricing strategies, packages, and promotions to optimize occupancy, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with operations, front office, and F&B teams to ensure smooth execution of events, promotions, and guest services.
  • Prepare reports and analyze sales and marketing performance metrics, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Represent the hotel/brand at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to enhance visibility.
  • Drive guest engagement initiatives, loyalty programs, and brand-building activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry (3–5 years minimum).
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality sales channels, revenue management, and marketing strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Proficiency in CRM, PMS systems, and digital marketing tools.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships and network effectively in the hospitality sector.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales and marketing in hotels, resorts, restaurants, or other hospitality establishments.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets, increasing bookings, and growing brand presence.
  • Experience managing sales teams, marketing campaigns, and client accounts in the hospitality sector.
