Organisation is leading Corrugated Packaging / Corrugation Industry located at Pune, Maharashtra.

Required Education : Graduate/MBA in Marketing or related field with 10–12 years of experience in corrugated packaging / printing & packaging industry.

1. Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets for corrugated boxes, printed cartons, and custom packaging solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across FMCG, electronics, automotive, e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, industrial manufacturing, and other relevant sectors.
  • Conduct market mapping in Pune, PCMC, Chakan, Talegaon, Ranjangaon, and Western Maharashtra and Gujarat region.

2. Customer Acquisition & Key Account Management

  • Generate new leads, conduct client visits, product presentations, and technical discussions.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key OEMs, distributors, and corporate clients.
  • Understand clients’ packaging specifications, cushioning requirements, load-bearing needs, and design expectations.
  • Manage customer negotiations related to pricing, credit terms, and supply agreements.

3. Costing, Quotation & Pricing

  • Prepare accurate costing sheets based on board grade, GSM, BF, fluting type, production processes, and printing requirements.
  • Develop competitive quotations while maintaining expected margins.
  • Monitor competitor pricing and raw material trends (kraft paper, adhesives, liners) to make informed pricing decisions.

4. Coordination with Production & Design

  • Work closely with the production team to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the design/structural engineering team for sample development, die-cuts, prototypes, and packaging optimization.
  • Track order processing, dispatch schedules, and customer feedback to ensure seamless execution.

5. Marketing & Brand Development

  • Develop marketing strategies to increase brand visibility in the corrugated packaging market.
  • Create promotional materials, product catalogues, technical brochures, and digital marketing content.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, packaging exhibitions, and client technical seminars.

6. Market Research & Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, new technologies (E-flute, high-RSC, 5-ply/7-ply), and customer needs.
  • Analyse market demand and forecast sales volumes accurately.
  • Provide inputs to management on market positioning and product diversification.

7. CRM, Reporting & Sales Administration

  • Maintain updated sales pipelines, customer databases, and enquiry trackers.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly MIS reports on sales performance, outstanding payments, and client feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies on billing, credit control, and receivables management.

8. Team Leadership (if applicable)

  • Mentor and guide sales executives, customer service staff, and marketing coordinators.
  • Set sales targets, monitor performance, and conduct training on product knowledge and negotiation skills.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of corrugated packaging materials, board grades, printing processes (Flexo, Offset), and converting operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
  • Analytical skills for costing, pricing, and market assessment.
  • Ability to work independently in a competitive, fast-paced industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
