Job Summary:

The Sales & Marketing Manager – Building Materials is responsible for driving sales growth, developing market strategies, and managing customer relationships in the building materials industry. The role involves identifying business opportunities, expanding the dealer/distributor network, and promoting company products to architects, builders, contractors, and infrastructure companies.

Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across regions.
  • Manage existing customer relationships and ensure repeat business.
  • Appoint and handle dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Conduct site visits and client meetings to promote products.

2. Marketing & Brand Promotion

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and trade shows.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for product promotions, digital campaigns, and brand visibility.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Develop product positioning and pricing strategies based on market insights.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with key clients such as architects, interior designers, civil contractors, and project consultants.
  • Provide technical support and product presentations to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure timely order execution and delivery.

4. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead and motivate a team of sales executives and marketing staff.
  • Set performance goals and monitor achievement levels.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams for smooth order fulfillment.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews.

5. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and forecasts.
  • Track sales performance and suggest improvement plans.
  • Monitor receivables and ensure timely collections.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Civil or Mechanical Engineering; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 5–10 years in sales & marketing within the building materials industry (e.g., cement, tiles, paints, steel, pipes, construction chemicals, sanitaryware, etc.).
  • Knowledge:
  • Market dynamics in construction and infrastructure sectors.
  • Dealer/channel management and institutional sales.
  • CRM tools, ERP, and MS Office proficiency.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
