Job Overview:
The Retail Sales & Catering Manager is responsible for driving retail sales and managing catering operations to achieve revenue targets and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership, sales acumen, and operational expertise to oversee day-to-day catering execution and retail performance. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for hospitality, a strong client focus, and the ability to lead a high-performing team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Retail Sales:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase in-store and online retail sales.
- Analyze sales trends and customer data to drive product selection, pricing, and promotions.
- Maintain a deep knowledge of merchandise and current market trends.
- Train and supervise retail staff, ensuring high customer service standards and product knowledge.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and merchandising teams.
- Ensure all retail operations reflect Ladurée’s brand standards, visual merchandising guidelines, and luxury positioning
Catering Management:
- Oversee all aspects of the catering operation, including event planning, menu coordination, staffing, and execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for catering clients, handling inquiries, proposals, and contracts.
- Develop catering packages and pricing models that align with market demand and profitability goals.
- Coordinate with culinary and operations teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of catering events.
- Maintain and build relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and community partners.
Sales & Marketing:
- Drive new business through networking, cold calling, attending events, and managing digital marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional materials, seasonal campaigns, and online presence.
- Track and report on sales performance, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain CRM systems and ensure accurate record-keeping of client communications and sales activity.
- Liase with the Laduree Paris Team to ensure alignment with global brand guidelines, seasonal launches, visual identity, and campaign rollouts.
