The Sales Officer is responsible for identifying potential customers, generating leads, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role requires proactive fieldwork, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills to drive revenue growth and expand the customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and acquire new customers to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Visit clients regularly to maintain strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Demonstrate and present products or services to clients.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms in accordance with company policies.
Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align customer needs with business offerings.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Ensure timely collection of payments from customers.
Participate in promotional activities, exhibitions, and customer events as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Proven experience in a sales role (1-3 years minimum; varies by industry).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel extensively and work under pressure.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
