Position Summary:
The Senior Director of Brand Marketing holds a critical leadership role within DBH, overseeing the development and execution of brand strategies and integrated marketing campaigns across the organization’s diverse portfolio, which includes Mental Health, Psychiatry, Eating Disorders, and Substance Use. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing and Brand, this senior leader manages a team of Brand Marketing Managers, guiding them in creating distinctive and effective multichannel marketing campaigns. The role demands a high level of expertise in translating business objectives into dynamic marketing strategies and go-to-market campaigns, positioning DBH as a leading consumer-direct brand in the healthcare sector.
Essential Job Functions:- Strategic Leadership and Vision:
- Develop and articulate a clear vision for the brand's marketing strategies, aligning with DBH’s overall business goals and market opportunities.
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of all marketing initiatives to ensure they meet the business objectives of growth, market penetration, and brand positioning.
- Team Management and Development:
- Manage and mentor a team of Brand Marketing Managers, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.
- Ensure team members are high-performing and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and career growth.
- Campaign Development and Oversight:
- Oversee the creation and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the value proposition of DBH’s services and brands.
- Ensure campaigns are innovative, market-driven, and scientifically sound to establish DBH as a thought leader in the healthcare industry.
- Performance Analysis and Market Insights:
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns through rigorous analysis of performance data and market trends.
- Adjust strategies in real-time to optimize results and ensure the highest return on investment.
- Budget Management and Resource Allocation:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across various channels and initiatives.
- Make strategic decisions on investments based on detailed cost-benefit analyses and the potential for market impact.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other senior leaders across DBH to ensure a cohesive approach to market expansion and brand consistency.
- Engage with R&D, sales, customer service, and other departments to align marketing strategies with overall business strategies and operational capabilities.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as a key marketing spokesperson for DBH at industry events, conferences, and with the media.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including external partners and vendors, to enhance DBH’s visibility and market positioning.
- Innovation and Adaptation:
- Lead the adoption of new marketing technologies and methodologies to keep DBH at the forefront of industry trends.
- Encourage a culture of innovation within the team, challenging conventional approaches and exploring new ways to reach and engage target audiences.
Knowledge, Education, & Experience:- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field. Master's degree in related field highly desirable.
- 7+ years’ experience in marketing preferably in the behavioral healthcare space.
