The Sales Office Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Sales Department and plays a key role in ensuring smooth communication, efficient workflow, and professional representation of the hotel. This position is suitable for candidates with limited experience or those who have worked in similar entry-level roles and wish to further develop their skills in hotel sales. Accountable for the generation and conversion of sales in line with the hotels’ strategy through direct sales solicitation, securing of new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, executing sales and marketing tactical plans and conversion of leads in to contracted business - in order to maximize the profitability of the hotel. Manage and coordinate the planning and execution of all groups, meetings and events booked through all market segments, local or international business operational delivery of events to ensure customer satisfaction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist the Sales Team with administrative and operational tasks to support overall department goals.
- Coordinate office-related duties and provide internal communication.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, presentations and sales reports under the guidance of the Sales Manager
- Support the handling of group inquiries via all chanells ; travel agencies, corporate accounts, meetings, events and site inspection arrangements.
- Communicate professionally with clients, partners, and internal departments to ensure accurate and timely information flow.
- Assist in organizing sales events, client visits and familiarization trips.
- Ensure smooth coordination of day-to-day office operations to enhance the efficiency of the Sales Team.
- Establish customer base of group business through direct sales efforts for the purpose of securing business for the hotel in order that revenue goals are met or exceeded
- Maximize group revenues by applying all selling and rate strategies, negotiation practices, concession rules and revenue management best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales and Director of Sales & Marketing.
Preferably minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
