Sales Officer

The Sales Officer (B2B) is responsible for achieving sales targets by developing and maintaining business relationships with wholesalers, retailers, institutions, and other bulk buyers of dairy products. The role involves market development, order generation, route planning, and ensuring product visibility and availability in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new B2B customers (distributors, retailers, restaurants, bakeries, hotels, institutions, etc.).
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets in line with company objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and business leads for products.
  • Supervise and coordinate with Delivery Salesmen for smooth delivery and collection processes.
  • Monitor stock levels, ensure product freshness and proper rotation (FIFO), and handle customer complaints professionally.
  • Conduct market surveys to assess competition, pricing, and demand trends.
  • Ensure timely order booking, invoicing, and payment collection as per company policy.
  • Implement sales promotions, merchandising activities, and ensure brand visibility at customer outlets.
  • Maintain accurate sales reports, customer records, and submit daily/weekly performance reports.
  • Support the Area Sales Manager in achieving overall regional sales targets.
