  • Drive service quality: on-time pickup/delivery, milestone compliance, and rapid escalation paths.

4) Leadership & Org Build

  • Hire, train, and coach a night-shift team (US hours): shipper sales reps, carrier reps/dispatchers, T&T, and a QA analyst.
  • Establish a performance culture: weekly 1:1s, call coaching, calibration sessions, leaderboard, SPIFFs.

  • Deploy and optimize TMS + CRM + dialer stack; ensure clean data hygiene and dashboarding.
  • Own weekly business review: pipeline, loads, revenue, gross margin, service KPIs, and corrective action plans.
  • Forecast headcount, capacity, and revenue by lane/vertical; inform pricing strategy.

6) Compliance & Risk

  • Uphold FMCSA-aligned brokerage practices and document trails; reduce claims ratio and cargo risk.
  • Implement anti–double-brokering checks, geo-fence verification, and carrier scorecards.
  • Ensure insurance/COI validity and contractual compliance on every load.
