Wellfleet, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, seeks a Sales Operations Technical Analyst to support the Wellfleet sales team and the college health and special risk lines of business.

The Sales Operations Technical Analyst is responsible for the onboarding of new and renewed College and Special Risk clients and programs within the client-facing Wellfleet systems environment. The Sales Operations Technical Analyst works collaboratively with the Client Services and the Enrollment teams to ensure new and renewed accounts are supported with appropriately configured client-facing applications and enrollment/waiver process. This role also provides operational support to the Special Risk line of business.

In this role, you will…

Systems Set-up: User Platform (i.e. Spartacus), landing pages, enrollment and waiver sites

  • Configure Wellfleet’s external client-facing websites and applications to support the waive/enroll/member experience for Student Health Insurance Plans and Special Risk Plans
  • Oversight of onboarding and offboarding internal users and clients within company platform
  • Support internal stakeholders with satisfying regulatory and filing requirements.

System Administration and Support

  • Complete system enhancement requests and perform functional acceptance testing of IT code
  • Provide technical assistance and support to end users and troubleshooting system issues within the user platform
  • Collaborate with members of the IT and Development teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • Manage the shared BIT email box including monitoring and execution of support requests.

Spartacus System Training & Process Optimization

  • Collaborate on meetings with Sales Operations, Client Relationship Managers, Enrollment staff, brokers, and school administrators to review enrollment guidelines and landing page configurations
  • Identify areas for process improvement, and at times lead process improvement efforts
  • Develop process guidelines to document existing or newly developed workflows
  • Act as a liaison between Sales Operations and IT to convey process optimization opportunities and ensure these are executed upon
  • Collaborate regularly with members of the IT Department to ensure efficient execution, communication, and effective dissemination of information around system/process changes and enhancements to internal stakeholders
  • Understand the target vision and communicate that vision to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to help clarify questions that engineers may have on requirements, as needed
  • Cross train and serve as backup to Sales Operations Specialist with RFPs, Proposals, Sales mailbox, and other tasks as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

We are looking for candidates with…

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Business Systems, or a related field
  • 1+ years of Student Health Insurance experience, preferred
  • Basic understanding of health insurance terminology, health insurance policies and brochures
  • Proficiency in using digital platforms and various digital tools, along with the ability to troubleshoot issues and adapt to new applications and internal company systems
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to effectively identify, communicate, and address potential issues
  • Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to problem-solve, conduct thorough research and provide issue resolutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, composure and diplomacy while working with internal departments and external vendors, under demanding or challenging situations
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and contribute collaboratively within the department and across the organization
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

The annual gross base salary range is $50,000 to $60,000. This range anticipates the low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies.
