Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salesperson to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to drive sales.We like engage with customers and make them feel comfortable, having a little chat that helps close the sale!

Duties

• Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and support their shopping experience.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and providing accurate change.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer purchases.
• Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Assist in merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively on shelves and displays.
• Ensure compliance with store policies regarding cash handling and customer service standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding sales goals and customer feedback.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly in a grocery store environment.
• Familiarity with basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications.
• Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with customers and team members.
• Experience with merchandising techniques is advantageous to enhance product visibility.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer engagement in diverse communities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $170.00 per day

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
