Sales & Purchasing Agent

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales & Purchasing Agent to handle lead generation, customer follow-ups, market sales, procurement, and supplier negotiations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth while ensuring cost-effective purchasing through competitive supplier sourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

• Generate new business through open market sales, site visits, and direct client interactions.
• Manage and follow up on leads and existing customers to convert inquiries into sales.
• Prepare accurate quotations based on customer requirements and market pricing.
• Negotiate and close deals to achieve monthly sales targets.

2. Customer Relationship Management

• Maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Provide timely responses to inquiries via calls, WhatsApp, email, and in-person meetings.
• Keep updated records of leads, quotations, and sales conversions.

3. Purchasing & Procurement

• Source materials and services from approved and new suppliers at competitive rates.
• Maintain an updated supplier database and price list.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and cost control.

4. Market & Competitor Analysis

• Monitor competitor pricing, offers, and market trends.
• Analyze supplier and competitor rates to ensure competitive and profitable quotations.
• Provide pricing insights and market feedback to management.

5. Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare sales and purchasing reports as required.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of orders and services.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements & Skills:

• Experience in sales, purchasing, or a related role (construction / MEP / trading experience is an advantage).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
• Good knowledge of the local UAE market and suppliers.
• Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
