Sales Rep
Relationship-driven Sales & Business Development Consultant who will support both inbound homeowner opportunities and proactive partnership development with builders, contractors, architects, and designers. This role combines onsite consultations with consultative selling and long-term relationship building, helping clients plan and execute premium outdoor living solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing a sales pipeline, understanding technical products, and serving as a trusted advisor who can generate repeat and referral business over time.

Sales Rep – Outdoor Living
Tukwila / Greater Seattle Area
$60K–$150K+ (Base + Commission)
Rainier Shade helps homeowners and builders create incredible outdoor spaces with retractable screens, awnings, pergolas, and other premium shade solutions.
We’re looking for a relationship-driven Sales Consultant who enjoys meeting clients onsite, helping them design outdoor spaces, and building long-term partnerships with builders and contractors.
If you like consultative selling, interesting projects, and working with high-quality products, this can be a very rewarding role.
What You'll Do
- Meet homeowners onsite to discuss outdoor living projects
- Help clients design solutions using screens, awnings, and pergolas
- Prepare quotes and guide customers through the sales process
- Manage incoming leads and follow up with prospects
- Build relationships with builders, contractors, and designers
- Work with our install and operations team to ensure projects run smoothly
This role is a mix of consultative sales and relationship development — not high-pressure selling.

Someone who is:

✔ Organized and good at managing a sales pipeline
✔ Strong communicator who follows through
✔ Interested in construction, design, or outdoor living projects
✔ Motivated by building long-term referral relationships
Helpful Background (but not required)
Experience in any of the following is a plus:
- Home improvement sales
- Construction or remodeling
- Building materials
- Outdoor living / patio / landscape products
- In-home consultation sales

Compensation
Base salary + commission
Typical range: $60,000 – $150,000+ depending on performance
