Sales Representative

  • Sales Growth & Target Achievement: Drive sales growth within the traditional trade channels, meeting or exceeding set sales targets for home appliance products. Implement sales strategies and monitor daily performance to ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with local retailers, shop owners, and distributors. Provide exceptional customer service to foster loyalty and enhance business partnerships.
  • Product Promotion & Visibility: Promote and position home appliances effectively in traditional retail outlets. Ensure products are prominently displayed, well-stocked, and aligned with merchandising guidelines to boost sales and brand presence.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams to adjust strategies or introduce new product offerings.
  • Training & Support: Train retail staff on the product features, benefits, and selling points to ensure they are equipped to sell effectively. Provide ongoing support to retailers to address any concerns and improve product knowledge.
  • Inventory Management & Stock Control: Collaborate with distributors and retailers to ensure efficient inventory management. Monitor stock levels and take proactive steps to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records. Provide regular reports on sales performance, stock levels, customer feedback, and competitor insights to the regional sales manager.
  • Promotions Execution: Assist in the implementation of promotional activities, discounts, or offers to increase product visibility and drive sales in traditional trade outlets. Ensure that in-store promotions are executed effectively.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise within the sales process, including stock-related challenges, customer complaints, or operational difficulties in traditional trade outlets.
  • Brand Representation: Always represent the company and its home appliance products in a professional manner. Ensure that the brand image and values are consistently communicated and upheld in the traditional trade channels.

Who You Are

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a strong focus on traditional trade channels such as small retail stores, local distributors, and independent shops, ideally in the home appliance or consumer goods sector.
  • Sales Performance: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in traditional retail environments.
  • Product Knowledge: Experience with home appliances or similar consumer goods, with a solid understanding of product features and customer needs.
  • Market Understanding: Deep understanding of the local market, traditional trade dynamics, and customer behavior within the region.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with small business owners, distributors, and local retailers.
