The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned and entrepreneurial Sales Manager to help expand our international business in either of the following areas:

Children’s book printing and manufacturing, working with publishers to bring outstanding printed stories to life;

OR

Retail packaging, building partnerships with major retailers and distributors for our printed packaging solutions.

The role offers strategic autonomy and strong headquarters support. You’ll work closely with our production teams in China while managing client relationships and business development in your region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Depending on your focus (books or packaging), responsibilities include:
  • Business Development: Secure new clients—children’s publishers or retail packaging buyers—through proactive outreach and industry networking.
  • Client Management: Build long-term client relationships by understanding design, production, and commercial needs.
  • Sales Execution: Drive end-to-end sales cycles, from lead generation to deal closure and after-sales support.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with our China-based production teams to ensure on-time delivery, product quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor trends in publishing or retail packaging and share insights to shape business strategy.
  • Representation: Attend book fairs, trade shows, and client meetings to promote our capabilities and build visibility.
  • Reporting: Provide regular pipeline updates and strategic recommendations to management.

Who We’re Looking For

Candidates should bring proven B2B sales or key account experience in either:

Children’s Book Sector:

  • Sales or business development at a children’s book publisher;
  • Client-facing role at a children’s book manufacturing or printing company;
  • Experience managing production partnerships for illustrated or novelty books.

OR

Retail Packaging Sector:

  • Sales experience with retailers or FMCG brands (stationery, beauty, toys, home décor, etc.);
  • Prior roles as a supplier to large retailers or as a buyer/category manager;
  • Familiarity with packaging development, retail listings, and supply chain processes.

Additional qualities:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales or key account management
  • Strong commercial network in publishing or retail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently across cultures
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Printing, or related fields
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
