Job Purpose

The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying potential customers, generating leads, promoting company products/services, and closing sales to achieve revenue targets. The role focuses on building strong customer relationships, understanding client needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process that supports business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market visits.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Convert leads into successful sales through effective negotiation and communication.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by the company.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering appropriate solutions.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle any issues professionally.

Market Research & Reporting

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Submit regular sales reports including visits, leads, and achievements.
  • Provide insights to management to support sales strategies and decision-making.

Coordination & Administration

  • Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, finance, operations) to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM or tracking systems.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and promotional activities when required.

Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred, not mandatory).
  • Previous experience as a Sales Representative, Sales Executive, or a similar role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build trust and lasting customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Valid driving license (if field sales).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
