About Home Nation Home Nation is a family-owned, nationwide manufactured home dealer focused on providing affordable housing at scale. We sell factory-direct, allowing customers to save significantly compared to traditional dealerships. We specialize in drop-shipping homes directly from the manufacturer to the customer's land.

About the Role This is a high-volume inside sales role working with inbound, pre-screened leads from customers who already own land and are actively looking to purchase a home. Every lead comes in by phone — there is no cold calling.

Your job is to qualify the customer, run the numbers, and move them forward. The best reps here are part salesperson, part construction consultant. They help customers understand what their project will actually cost, what obstacles exist, and what needs to happen next.

What You'll Do

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with home buyers
  • Qualify quickly based on land, financing, budget, and timeline
  • Run full project math on every call — home price, delivery, installation, and site work — and confirm the deal works before investing further
  • Build home estimates and walk customers through their options
  • Control the conversation and keep it moving toward a decision
  • Handle objections by asking first, explaining second
  • Set clear, specific next steps on every call — not "I'll follow up," but a committed time, purpose, and action
  • Maintain detailed CRM notes and pipeline activity
  • Manage 50–100 active opportunities at a time with full ownership of outcomes

What This Role Requires

  • Experience in high-ticket sales
  • Construction experience
  • Strong call control — you lead, the customer doesn't
  • Comfortable asking direct questions about money, timelines, and decision makers
  • Ability to do math in real time and connect numbers to decisions on the same call
  • You ask before you explain — when a customer pushes back, your first move is a question for clarity, not a reassurance
  • High urgency and full ownership of your pipeline
  • Consistent follow-up and pipeline discipline

This Role Is NOT for You If

  • You rely on "I'll send info and follow up"
  • You back off when a customer says "I need to think about it"
  • You avoid direct conversations about money or timelines
  • You wait for customers to decide on their own
  • You struggle to take control of a call
  • You prefer a low-pressure environment

Compensation

  • Base salary: $36,000
  • Commission: $1,000–$3,000 per deal

Sales Environment

  • No cold calling — all inbound, pre-screened leads
  • 59% of sales close within 60 days of first contact
  • High-volume, fast-moving pipeline
  • Performance is measured by deal progression and results
  • Top performers are selling 3+ homes per month
