Sales Representative - Spirits Industry / Maryland

We’re looking for a results-driven sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. Will be calling on retail accounts and will be working with our distributor partner.

Responsibilities

  • Managing sales for Maryland (On and Off premise) in the spirits business.
  • Working in partnership with our distributor partner
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales efforts weekly and monthly with executive leadership
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback

Skills

  • Proven work experience as a sales representative; experience in beverage/spirits industry a plus but not needed
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

Requirements

  • Licensed driver with reliable transportation
  • Must be 21 or older
  • Must be able to obtain a solicitors license in the state of Maryland to sell alcohol

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
