Description:
Responsible for providing a superior customer service experience to all walk-in customers.

In-Person Sales: Provide immediate, high-quality service to all walk-in retail and wholesale customers.

Parts Identification: Use inventory software to help customers find exact matches for their vehicles with the vehicles on-site.

Sales: Actively manage the front counter area, processing cash and credit transactions using POS systems.

Yard Coordination: Communicate directly with parts pullers to retrieve parts for customers that want the company to pull their parts for them

Merchandising & Displays: Set up and maintain physical displays of popular parts (e.g., batteries, fluids, tools) to drive impulse sales.

Core & Returns Management: Inspect physical parts returned by walk-in customers to verify condition and process credits or warranty claims

Requirements:
Basic Qualifications
Education & Experience:

To perform this job this job successfully, an individual must have a strong customer service background.

Must be able to communicate effectively.

High School or G.E.D. Equivalent preferred. College coursework desired.

Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts preferred.

Two to three years of prior customer service relations preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Ability to establish priorities and demonstrate effective time-management skills.

Must be able to work in a team oriented environment.

Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.

Must be able to communicate effectively with others.

Must have the flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends.
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:
