Sales Specialist

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales (preferably in contracting or interior design).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
• Valid driving license (own car is a plus).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Expertise & Application

• Identify and recommend appropriate sealing materials for construction applications, including joint seals, waterproofing seals, and structural expansion seals.
• Provide technical support to project teams for sealing applications in construction, ensuring compatibility with building materials and environmental exposure.
• Analyze construction project specifications and recommend seals for areas such as foundation walls, concrete joints, facade systems, and roofs.
• Assist in designing and selecting seals that enhance structural integrity, reduce water intrusion, and comply with industry standards.

2. Installation Support & Troubleshooting

• Oversee installation practices to ensure correct application of seals and prevent early failure or degradation.
• Conduct inspections to identify issues in sealing applications and work with project teams to develop solutions.
• Document sealing issues during construction and offer recommendations for corrective actions.

3. Quality Control & Supplier Coordination

• Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality seals suited to construction requirements, negotiating terms as needed.
• Ensure that all sealing products meet industry standards and are approved for the intended construction applications.
• Maintain relationships with seal suppliers to keep current on advancements and innovations in construction seal technologies.

4. Project Planning & Continuous Improvement

• Support project managers by providing input on seal types, installation timelines, and costs during project planning stages.
• Research and implement best practices for seal application and maintenance in construction to improve project outcomes.
• Contribute to reducing project costs and downtime by recommending efficient sealing solutions and preventative measures.

5. Training & Documentation

• Provide training to construction staff on the proper installation and maintenance of seals.
• Document sealing procedures and maintain records of seals used in various projects, including performance data and issues encountered.
• Generate technical reports on seal performance and suggest improvements for future projects.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of [7-10years] experience in seals application and maintenance within the construction industry.
• Skills:
• Knowledge of construction materials, seal types, and waterproofing methods.
• Ability to read construction blueprints and project specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on preventive maintenance and long-term solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with construction teams, suppliers, and clients.
