Overview
An opportunity exists for a driven and commercially minded pharmaceutical sales professional to join a high-impact specialty respiratory franchise focused on rare and serious lung diseases. This field-based role is centred on expanding access to innovative therapies for patients living with conditions such as PH-ILD and IPF.
You will operate within a complex, specialist clinical environment, engaging with leading pulmonologists and multidisciplinary care teams. The role combines deep scientific understanding with strategic territory ownership, requiring both strong clinical acumen and a highly proactive, business-focused sales approach.
Key Responsibilities

Drive promotion and growth of specialty respiratory products within a defined territory, with primary focus on advanced therapies for PH-ILD and IPF

Develop, manage, and execute a strategic territory business plan to achieve or exceed sales targets

Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals including pulmonologists, cardiologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and specialist care teams

Serve as a trusted educational resource, communicating complex clinical and scientific data with clarity and confidence

Analyse territory performance and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and optimise account strategy

Collaborate with cross-functional field teams to align on customer engagement and support initiatives

Maintain deep expertise in disease state, treatment landscape, product knowledge, and competitor activity

Utilise CRM and sales force automation tools for accurate reporting, planning, and compliance tracking

Ensure full adherence to regulatory, compliance, and corporate promotional guidelines

Represent the organisation at regional, national, and specialty medical conferences and symposia

Engage with patient support and advocacy communities in line with established guidelines
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Life Sciences, Nursing, or related field) or equivalent experience

6+ years of pharmaceutical or specialty medical sales experience, OR healthcare/nursing experience in advanced lung disease

Therapeutic experience in either pulmonary / pulmonology or respiratory is required
Preferred Experience

Prior experience in PH-ILD and/or IPF therapies

Exposure to specialty pharmacy distribution models

Established relationships within academic or major teaching hospital networks
