Northlight Custom Builders is a full-service design-build home remodeling company in Mukilteo, Washington. We serve North King and South Snohomish counties, including Everett, Mukilteo, Edmonds, Shoreline, Kenmore, Bothell, Mill Creek, Kirkland, and Bellevue. NorthLight’s services include Kitchen and Bathroom remodels, Home additions and conversions, Whole home remodels, Outdoor living spaces, and ADU/DADU conversions and additions. Position Description
NorthLight Custom Builders’ sales team members are experienced, energetic, team-oriented, self-motivated sales professionals who are knowledgeable about and within the residential home remodeling industry. Sales can be a high-stress and fast-paced position. Having the ability to manage and stay organized through any situation is critical. This is an in-office-based setting.
This is a critical role to help lay the foundation for NorthLight’s success. You will be an integral part of our design-to-build process, guiding the client, design team, and project developers throughout the Pre-Construction process, into and throughout construction; all the while being a constant advocate for the client and the company.
Organization, communication, follow-through, ability, and willingness to follow processes, and to be a team player are essential components of this position.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Responding quickly to incoming leads, scheduling and preparing for in-person consultations.
· Meet with clients to learn about their objectives, vision, needs, and wants for their newly remodeled space.
· Effectively communicate NorthLight’s processes and how we can meet the client’s goals.
· Creatively communicate what is possible with their remodel or addition and what might not be possible based on location, budget, and other potential construction-related constraints.
· Build trust so the client is willing to provide you with their budget for the project and ultimately become a NorthLight client.
· Collaborate with the Project Developers and Design Team to develop a Pre-construction plan and deliverables to the client.
· Work with the Project Developers, Design Team, and trade partners to obtain accurate quotes that can then be built into a construction budget.
· Work with Pre-Construction team to develop the project estimates based on historical data and previous work experience, to later be built into a construction contract to be presented to the client.
· Confidently present and talk through contracts, answer client questions about the estimate, and the project in general.
· Drive to exceed sales goals as presented by management.
· Maintain and update Buidertrend CRM and client portal.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and clients effectively.
· Effective time management skills and ability to motivate teams to meet deadlines.
· Attend local networking events and meetings.
· Work with marketing to help develop sales tools.
Qualifications
· Residential home remodeling industry sales experience preferred
· Estimating residential remodeling construction projects preferred
· Knowledge of residential construction (kitchen, bathroom, whole home remodeling) is preferred
· Stellar communication skills and desire to work with team members
· Customer-focused attitude
· Ability to work with, motivate, and overcome hurdles and roadblocks with solutions in a team environment
· Skilled in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Adobe
· Valid driver’s license, vehicle, and cell phone
Compensation and benefits:
· Base salary plus commission

Base Salary: $80,186.40
