Sales Specialist – Heavy Transportation & Logistics

🛠 Tasks and Responsibilities:

•

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets in

the assigned region.

• Build

and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding

their needs and business drivers.

•

Conduct market research to identify emerging markets, industry trends, and

competition status.

•

Negotiate and close agreements with large customers, managing key accounts.

•

Provide weekly EOEs and monthly sales reports to the General Manager regarding

sales performance, goals, and initiatives.

•

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company-wide sales targets.

•

Represent the company at industry events and conferences to expand business

opportunities.

•

Analyze sales team performance and schedule training or refresher sessions

accordingly.

•

Record and track all sales activities in the company CRM system, ensuring

regular updates.

•

Coordinate with the logistics team to meet shipping deadlines and liaise with

forwarders, shipping agents, and port agents for necessary documentation.

•

Manage a network of vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth supply chain

operations.

• Work

alongside the team to develop strategies for increasing the customer base and

expanding market reach.

Requirements:

•

Proven experience in sales within the heavy transportation or logistics

industry.

•

Strong knowledge of land transportation, oversized cargo handling, and

logistics operations.

•

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

•

Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and partners.

•

Goal-oriented with a proactive sales approach.

•

Experience using CRM and logistics software is an advantage.

•

Proficiency in Arabic and English.

• A

degree or certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

is preferred.
